The ClubThe Club opened its first range, near the Village Hall, in 1909, so recording a long association with the Chobham community. It moved to its current location in 1927 with the help of local craftsmen who volunteered their labour to construct the present clubhouse and range. Whilst the origins of the Club are firmly established in small-bore (.22″) rifle shooting and have historical links with the ‘Home Guard’ – today members can also enjoy a variety of other shooting disciplines as well including .177″ air rifle & air pistol and sporting rifle disciplines at the facilities in Chobham. BisleyThe Bisley shooting complex near Brookwood, Surrey is only a short distance away housing the National Shooting Centre with the country’s largest complex of civilian shooting ranges. A set of international ranges was built to hold the shooting disciplines for the Commonwealth Games in 2002. It is also the home of the National Rifle Association, National Small-bore Rifle Association and Clay Pigeon Association. Chobham Rifle Club members have opportunities to shoot full-bore and shotgun disciplines on the Bisley ranges. Addlestone Rifle ClubIn 2022 Addlestone Rifle Club was incorporated into Chobham & District Rifle Club.
